Welcome to Keble People, where we introduce some of our fantastic team members to you and give you an insight into their day-to-day activities.
Bronwyn has over 10 years’ experience in the events industry as well as a BA Honours in International Event Management. Bronwyn has been at the College for over six years, helping to plan and execute internal and external events throughout the year
Q1: What does a typical day look like for you?
A typical day is extremely busy! Keble College is such a popular venue with a variety of different events, that I can be planning an internal meeting for 10 people one minute, then a 300 person awards dinner the next. You have to be very organised and able to multitask which makes my role extremely fun! I spend my days emailing and phoning clients, in meetings with the wider College team and showing guests our wonderful grounds and facilities.
Q2: How many events have you supported during your time here?
We host over 100 events a year at Keble, so too many to count over the years!
Q3: What’s been your favourite event at Keble?
A Harry Potter themed award ceremony in 2018. We lit up the Dining Hall in different colours and had a Harry Potter themed menu. They even had an owl to reveal winners of the awards! It was a fantastic night and we enjoyed meeting the owl afterwards too.
Q4: How do you typically support events at Keble?
I support events from start to finish, from the first enquiry, proposals and budgets, to planning the event with clients and finally executing it. We work with one client throughout the process and they’re confident knowing we’ll be on hand during the event too.
Q5: What’s your favourite thing about working at Keble?
I love being part of the Keble family. We’re all so close and work so well together. It’s hard to find that in a team and I’m sure it’s the reason we deliver such amazing events! Our clients return year after year, not only because of the beautiful surroundings, but because they say it’s always like they’re coming home.
