Accommodating & flexible space
As a prominent Oxford College, Keble is perfectly set up to host summer schools* from both the international and domestic markets.
With a broad range of accommodation and a variety of flexible space, the College provides an ideal venue for organisers and tutors looking for the ideal learning environment for their students.
*Please note that Keble College does not provide or run a Summer Study programme itself.
Ideal for large groups
The proximity of our Dining Room, College Bar and teaching spaces to our accommodation as well as the access to the four distinctive quads ensure that Keble is perfectly set up to accept large educational groups.
The variety and scope of the College also ensures that there are plenty of places for relaxation and reflection once the core learning is finished for the day, as well as access to the playing fields and tennis courts at the College playing fields on Woodstock Road.
AV & streaming
Teaching can be done in the main O’Reilly Lecture Theatre or the Lecture Theatre at The HB Allen Centre (pictured, right), which both provide tiered seating, or on a more personal level in one of over twelve alternative workshop or seminar spaces.
All rooms are equipped with AV equipment and accommodate hybrid or streamed sessions if delegates or speakers are unable to attend in person.
Keble also boasts an excellent Library and Archive, access to which can be arranged as part of a Summer School booking.
Breakfasts and lunches are normally provided in the impressive Keble Dining Hall where students can get a feel for a real Oxford College experience.
Formal and informal evening meals can be taken as a group in the impressive Keble Dining Hall or on a more casual basis in the College Bar, where we can offer pizzas or an external BBQ. In addition, guests can have access to the Robin Geffen Cafeteria at the HB Allen Centre a short 300m walk away.
