Across its two sites (Parks Road and The H B Allen Centre), Keble offers 320 bedrooms, 240 of which are ensuite. There is a selection of single, double and twin rooms. In addition, a delicious full English or Continental breakfast is served each morning in the wonderful Victorian dining hall, the longest hall in Oxford.
The main site
The main Keble College site was founded in the 1870s to commemorate John Keble, a leader of the ‘Oxford Movement’, and is one of Oxford’s architectural landmarks.
The original Victorian building, described as ‘one of the finest of its date in England’, has been complemented and supplemented by award-winning contemporary developments. The famous William Holman Hunt painting, The Light of the World, can be viewed in the Keble Chapel, which is open daily to all.
The Sloane Robinson Building houses the O’Reilly Theatre, with tiered seating for 250, and seven other meeting rooms. The Arco Rooms are a great complement to the Sloane Robinson Building, offering a 200 square metre space, providing the perfect exhibition or refreshment area. The Victorian Pusey and Gibbs rooms are available for smaller meetings. All meeting rooms at Keble College have Wi-Fi internet connectivity
The H B Allen Centre
Located just 300 metres north of the main college, our graduate centre, The H B Allen, is one of the most exciting and significant new building projects in Oxford.
The centre hosts a quality top lecture theatre, seminar rooms and an exhibition/performance space. Facilities are available throughout the year and can be used for a standalone event or to supplement provisions on our main college site during vacation.
The Harvard-style lecture theatre can seat up to 100 people, has state of the art cameras and allows for video/audio recording as well as live streaming. The seminar rooms are in close proximity to each other and have built-in projection and sound facilities, perfect for small meetings and workshops. Flexibility is offered in the Glen Callater rooms which together open into a flat space with mobile TV connectivity.
